My Nordic Noir

July 14 from 19.40 at the cinema "Bajka" Darlowo

July 13-17 residents and guests of Darlowo will be able to move to a world straight out of Scandinavian novels or the setting of films by Bergman, Hallström or von Trier. All thanks to the photo exhibition by Agata Mayer, who for the first time in Poland has transferred the contemporary Scandinavian trend of crime novels and films - Nordic Noir - into photographs in 2019. This time, the exhibition will be held in the spaces of Cinema "Bajka" Darlowo (56 Morska St.) as part of the 22nd edition of the Scandinavian Film Festival.
On Thursday, July 14, from 7:40 pm at Kino "Bajka" Darlowo, Agata will meet with the audience to talk about Nordic Noir and its worldwide phenomenon. The meeting will be hosted by Ryszard Jaźwinski.
Admission is free.

The idea for "My Nordic Noir" was born in 2016 on a film set in Sweden, where Agatha spent several months in the northern Viking mountains and forests. It was there that she began a private photography project. Among other places, the photos were taken around the land of Jämtland, which she reached in person with Jörgen Wikström, a location scout who worked with David Fincher on the film "The Girl with the Tattoo."
