It's good between usMichał Adamski, Mariusz Forecki, Mariusz Stachowiak, Adrian Wykrota

The group exhibition of Pix.House-affiliated photographers Michał Adamski, Mariusz Forecki and Adrian Wykrota, as well as Mariusz Stachowiak, is a look at their archives in the context of complex social relations. It is also an attempt to combine different perspectives and points of view.

The title of the exhibition refers to the drama by Dorota Masłowska - one of the greatest hits of TR Warsaw, directed by Grzegorz Jarzyna. Polarized society, overwhelmed by the weight of history, lost individuals, faith, pride and prejudice. All this, spiced with the playwright's cutting language, adds up to a portrait of Polish society.

This reference encourages an attentive but also at times ironic look at the photographs presented in the exhibition It's good between us. Gestures, symbols, ties, relationships - it is around these that the narrative revolves. What is noteworthy is the way the photographers looked, and what situations involving individuals and groups were captured in the frames. It's good between us is an exhibition about scenes from the life of Polish society from the early 1980s through the time of transition and change to the present.

The exhibition consists of single works and fragments of series. Photographs, texts, but also their form of display are confronted. Also important are the books, whose closed form complements the photographers' statements. The publications designed by Andrzej Dobosz revolve around topics relevant to Polish society. They are also a complex analysis of behaviors and trends that the photographers closely observe and document.

Among the presented works you can see fragments of cycles Close to earth, far to heaven, I used to have a dream As well as photographs by Michal Adamski taken during the women's protests, Not, Nothing interesting, Wedding Adrian Wykrota, as well as Mechanism, Blue Box Mariusz Forecki and Because I'm alive Mariusz Stachowiak (published by Pix.House).
