Dormant Lands / Dormant Lands - Galeria Centrala in Poznań, 22.03. - 26.04.2025

DORMANT LANDS is a visual story about dormant spaces that carry traces of the past, forgotten narratives, and sometimes hidden meanings. Can a memory rooted in the landscape become a living potential for the future, without detaching itself from its history? Places that look like unknowable areas on maps can inspire both fascination and anxiety, lingering between what has been and what is yet to come.
The exhibition presents works that attempt to capture places and situations suspended in time. These are visual narratives that connect space with emotions, landscape with ideologies, architecture with memory; explorations that ask what is visible, hidden, forgotten and what can still happen. The exhibition features a selection of works by those selected through the Dormant Lands open call and artists invited independently by the gallery.
