WORLD PRESS PHOTO winners for the GOCC.
The World Press Photo prize has been awarded since 1955. Tens of thousands of photos from all parts of the world are submitted annually for the "photographic Oscars."
World Press Photo winners photograph not only front-page subjects on a daily basis, but also from their immediate surroundings. They have different styles, different views of the world. What they have in common is sensitivity to other people.
Receiving the award is certainly a gratifying honor to the work of male and female photographers. But the winners of the World Press Photo are primarily concerned with contributing through their photos to changing the world for the better, drawing attention to pressing social problems and reducing indifference to them.
This year, fifteen winners and laureates of World Press Photo are donating their photos, collectible albums to the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity auction, offering workshops in their studio, inviting people for a run or coffee to talk about photography together
