Tomasz Grzyb is an excellent observer and a master of mood building! He carefully looks around while instinctively following his senses, inviting the viewer into a world of imagination. He skillfully seeks and uses light, which in his photographs becomes a laser pointer of purpose for the viewer.
With it, he usually illuminates geometric forms on which he wants to focus our attention. He perfectly moves between light and shadow, building the mood and bringing out the beauty of the geometric fragment of the landscape captured in the frame, which in the end becomes a work of art. It wraps our senses for a long time remaining in our memory.
The sense of nostalgia that begins to germinate in us is a creative element in the process, initiated by the author the moment he presses the shutter button. Tomasz Grzyb is an experienced and sensitive photographer who uses light and shadow with full awareness to create a magical atmosphere, giving the photographed place a multidimensional meaning.
The author consciously abandoned color in photography, building the mood with black and white. This procedure allows to focus on the structure, geometric form, harmony and the play of light and shadow. It emphasizes the nostalgic dimension of these unusual photographs, giving them a unique character.

In his creative work he is guided by the golden thought of Robert Bresson When photographing, try to show what without you, no one else would see.
