Sets of photos must be submitted by September 30, 2025. In October 2025, a professional jury, composed of representatives of the photographic and artistic community: photographers, curators and visual artists, will meet to select the best works. The chairman of the second edition will be a writer, reporter and photographer -. Filip Springer.
Winners in both categories will receive financial prizes of 10,000 zlotys, and the opportunity to publish their work in the form of a photobook. The winning and awarded sets will be shown in a competition exhibition, which will open in the spring of 2026, during the PNF 2026 final gala.
-We encourage photographers to share the stories that are closest to them, both in terms of place and emotion, says Grzegorz Dembinski, PNF curator. - We define proximity as broadly as possible. We are curious about local stories - about the worlds of villages, towns, cities or regions; intimate stories - about the relationship between people, humans and their environment; narratives that reveal proximity in the manner of the story, the approach of the author, or the use of the medium, he explains.
The organizational meeting for the second edition will be held on December 7 at 15.00 in the workshop of Posnania City Publishing House, at 44 Ratajczaka Street in Poznan (Arkadia building)
PNF 2026 is organized by Posnania City Publishing House. Mayor of the City of Poznań Jacek Jaskowiak has taken the initiative under its honorary patronage. The partners of PNF 2026 are Foundation for the Development of the City of Poznań and Old Brewery.
