Charms is a very personal story full of pain, but also hope. A story about family across generations. But above all, it is a story about trauma. The intergenerational one. About whether it can be dealt with. And whether to deal with it at all. In June 2022 in the Young's portfolio included his photographs along with a brief discussion of his work from the series Charms.
Kamil Sleszynski (1982) - documentary photographer, self-taught. He is originally from Bialystok. His work focuses on complex themes of social isolation and identity. He lives and works in Podlasie.
