We would like to invite you to a unique meeting with a legend of Polish photography - Wojciech Prazmowski, professor, doctor habilitated in the field of film art and lecturer at the PWSFTviT in Lodz, one of the most famous Polish artists involved in creative photography.
"The First World Exhibition of Broken Photographs" from 1989, presented at the ZPAF's Mala Gallery in Warsaw, elevated the author to the rank of one of the most important contemporary photographers. In the 1980s and 1990s, he devoted himself to creating objects and installations, as well as staged color photography, only to surprise at the turn of the century with a turn to black-and-white documentary and stories about the political transformation in our country.
Photos from his travels in Venice, Vigo and Rhodes, on the other hand, are a view of the world, devoid of people and politics. However, his daily life in the countryside just over the border from Belarus, where he moved a few years ago, brings a different picture.
From photomontage to classic documentary photography, his work is a fascinating journey through the years, inspired by his search for perfect forms and light.
We extremely look forward to the opportunity of this conversation. We very much invite you to participate in it as well. See you there.
