It has been almost 10 years since the last printed issue 39 of "Quarterly Photography" was published. On June 1, 2022, we reactivated "KF" in the form of a website combined with an online store (tab Gallery KF") offering archival issues of our magazine, as well as books and collectible prints, and now we are returning to the old form of the magazine, that is, on paper.
Issue 40 will reach you in mid-December, so that you have something to read and watch on Christmas. The content of the issue is mainly articles prepared especially for it and not published anywhere before, but there will also be some texts from the website quarteralnikfotografia.pl, not necessarily in the same form. The authors of the articles are: Vladimir Birgus, Krzysztof Jurecki, Adam Mazur, Agatha Mayer, Monika Piotrowska, Jerzy Orawski, Julia Stachura, Daria Kolacka, Magdalena Żołędź, Pawel Sokolowski, Piotr Nowak, Alicja Długołęcka, Krzysztof Szymoniak, Maciej Herman, Slawomir Tobis.
In order to become a holder of the historic paper issue of "Quarterly Photograph" No. 40, one must make a prepayment by purchasing a virtual purchase confirmation at the KF Gallery. Price is £40 + shipping costs. If anyone wants to pick up a copy themselves - please contact us - waldemar@kwartalnikfotografia.pl. The magazine will have minimum 100 pages, and visually it will be prepared in the same layout as previous issues. It will not be possible to purchase "KF" No. 40 in bookstores, Empik, or in stores at galleries and museums. The only distribution channel for "Kwartalnik" is the KF Gallery at kwartalnikfotografia.pl, or mail order. Anyone who pre-orders KF 40 will receive the following from us bonus in the form of a free PDF any archival issue of "Fotografia Quarterly" in PDF form that is available in our store. You will receive an email confirming your purchase along with a code to download the free PDF to your email address provided in your order. You will immediately download it for yourself by placing a new order and instead of paying you will enter the code you received.
We are very happy to be back in the paper, but this does not mean that we are "suspending" or weakening the quarterlynikfotografia.pl website. It still - along with profiles on FB and Insta - is the main channel of contact with Readers and people who want to cooperate with us, either as authors of articles or as photographers and publishers who want to promote themselves and sell their prints and publications. We invite you to contact us and to... prepaid KF 40!
And one more thing - if you want to receive an invoice for your purchase (it will be an invoice without VAT, i.e. a simplified invoice), you will receive it in the shipment, together with the KF 40. If you need an invoice beforehand, write it in the comments when ordering - we will send it as a PDF, and a paper original together with the KF 40.
