Non-grey Katowice
October 30 at 18:00 / at the Empty Gallery cd. in Jaworzno at 37A Fabryczna St.
This time it will be an exhibition entitled. "Non-Gray Katowice," whose author is Krzysztof Strzoda.
"Non-Gray Katowice" is a photographic project that presents Katowice from a new perspective, breaking the stereotypical associations with the industrial city. The series of a dozen photographs explores the modern city, its spaces and its inhabitants in subtle, non-obvious frames. Using a rare platinotype technique, the project captures the atmosphere of Katowice in a "tonality" that deviates from traditional grays.
The photos capture not only the city's distinctive architecture and green spaces, but also its residents - although difficult to recognize, they are the heart of this project. "Non-Gray Katowice" raises questions about how we perceive and experience urban space.
