The year 2023 marks the 10th anniversary of the death of photographer Janusz Chlasta - a Gniezno-based reporter, documenter of events and social life of Gniezno and Greater Poland in the second half of the 20th century. For this reason, the Gniezno Municipal Cultural Center plans to organize a festival of his best photographs in September 2023.
The project has been joined by more than a dozen institutions and organizations from Gniezno, Kłeck, Witkow, Września, Środa Wlkp, Powidz, Łubów, which will prepare the festival event - an exhibition, workshops and a meeting - on their own premises. Exhibitions of Janusz Chlasta's photographs will also be held at the Agricultural Museum in Szreniawa and WBPiCAK in Poznań.
