I tell the story of silence through photography. The inspiration is John Cage's piece 4'33" - its score could be white sheets of paper. Silence in music, which has its own weight and volume, is important because it creates space for emotions to resound. Non-acoustic silence, the silence of the inner landscape, as a state of consciousness, is the one that directs us towards ourselves. The silence of the silent cosmos, the harmony of the spheres....

Artur Panczakiewicz - programmer, chemical engineer, music lover. A graduate of the Karol Krukowski School of Photography, in 2021 he participated in a group exhibition organized by the school at the International Culture Laboratory in Sokolowsk. In his recent projects, he uses the language of photography to depict the emotions that accompany communication with music and its complement - silence. His photographic work is intellectual in nature: it starts from a concept, to which the exploration of various contexts is subordinated in order to find the images that express it.
