Janusz Nowacki (1939) - has been taking photographs since 1964. He lives and works in Poznan. He is the creator of the 19th edition of photography workshops - as part of the animation of photographic creativity in Wielkopolska (from 1973 to 1981). From 1973 to 1992 he was a photography instructor at the Palace of Culture in Poznan. In 1993 he was the founder of the Photography Gallery at the Zamek Cultural Center in Poznań, which he ran until 2004. He was a co-founder of the Photography Group Close-up, active from 1975 to 1979, and was co-founder of the DiM Studies active between 1978 and 1985, preferring photography in diaporama.
Janusz Nowacki is the author and co-author of many photographic exhibitions; individual, collective, post-exhibition and post-competition, where he received many awards, honors, diplomas, congratulatory letters. In 1985, he was accepted as a member of the Wielkopolska District of the Union of Polish Art Photographers (ID No. 596) - later he became an honorary member of ZPAF. In 1998 he was accepted as a member of the Photoclub of the Republic of Poland Association of Artists. By the decision of the Professional Qualifications Committee of the Photoclub of the Republic of Poland, he received a diploma confirming his qualifications to practice the profession of an artist photographer, photographer (card number 105). Janusz Nowacki is a laureate of Artistic Award of the City of Poznań As well as the award of the Marshal of the Wielkopolska Region. He is the author of photographs for the album Landscapes from the road to silence, released in 2015.
