"Estate Z" by Artur Jastrzębski.

Gemini Park Tychy, 07.02. - 14.03.2025

What are you looking at? After all, there is nothing there.

And yet there is something there. Artur Jastrzębski, in his series of photographs, takes us on a journey to a world we pass by indifferently every day, preoccupied with everyday matters. His photographs, taken in one of Tychy's housing estates, open the door to a different view - full of attentiveness, reflection and curiosity.

Each of us, absorbed in the fast pace of life, loses the ability to see our surroundings in their full complexity. The ordinary seems invisible, and beauty - imperceptible. Jastrzebski shows that true magic does not require exotic landscapes or spectacular views. It is right beside us - we just need to learn to look.

Photographs from Z Estates are frames full of simplicity that inspires. Their streamlined form not only emphasizes the uniqueness of everyday places, but also creates space for personal interpretations and emotions. These are not images that impose their story - rather, they are subtle clues, inviting the viewer into a dialogue with what he sees.

However, the project does not end with the exhibition itself. It is also a subtle call for a change of perspective in everyday life. Are you able to see the extraordinary where you previously saw only routine? Are you able to stop, look deeper and find beauty in seemingly banal places?

I invite you to the exhibition Estate Z - a unique journey through spaces we know, but which we may never have truly seen before. You may come out of it inspired, ready to look at your world in a whole new way. The art of looking is a skill that each of us can discover - we just need to dare to start.
