Liberation
Krzysztof Bielinski's School of Experimental Photography invites you to "Liberation," an exhibition of the School's student(s).
The opening of the exhibition will take place on September 1, 2024 at 16:00 in Studio Jaskółka at Warecka 8/Kubusia Puchatka Street in Warsaw. Admission is free.
Experimental photography is a path to liberation. Liberation from schematic thinking and liberation of one's creative energy. - says Krzysztof Bielinski, curator of the exhibition, founder of the School of Experimental Photography, a recognized creator of abstract and theatrical photography.
The exhibition will feature more than 40 works by the following artists:
Piotr Bolek, Marlena Cechmistrz-Milczarek, Elżbieta Gajowniczek, Edyta Kielian, Dorota Kotowska, Katarzyna Kozłowska, Radosław Kozłowski, Agata Lewandowska, Katarzyna Leśniewska, Weronika Łucjan-Grabowska, Adam Maliszewski, Anna Orzyłowska, Izabela Rogowska, Barbara Ryszkowska, Renata Wojciechowska, Andrzej Winkler, Agnieszka Zyga, Kazimierz Ździebło.
The unique and intriguing works you will see at the exhibition are not a reflection of reality, but of the emotional states, inner world and sensitivity of individuals. Being open to experimentation, not only in the technical sense, but especially in the mental sense, is freeing and leads to the creation of beautiful, moving works. - says the exhibition curator.
The School of Experimental Photography has been operating in Warsaw since 2023. Its creator is Krzysztof Bielinski, author of extraordinary abstract and theatrical photographs. Classes are conducted in several groups (online and in-studio) at different levels. Mentoring - individual meetings - is also conducted.
Can creative thinking be learned? This is not a school! Here you will not imitate someone else's photographic techniques, here you will discover your own. - Krzysztof Bielinski writes on the website of the School of Experimental Photography.
The school's founder says that his teaching method is all about out-of-the-box thinking, individual sensitivity and the search for a unique artistic language. - You will have to break with yourself to find yourself. Often we look for a safe zone in action, schemes that will make things easier for us. But these schemes prevent you from finding yourself and your unique artistic language. In my author's teaching method, the most important thing is to look into the inner world and develop one's own sensitivity.
