"Fotografia Quarterly" No. 46 - pre-sale - until September 4

The latest issue of "Kwartalnik Fotografia" will be published on September 4, 2024. As usual, inside you will find primarily presentations of the work of photographers, mainly from Poland, but not only. Vladimir Birgus will share his reflections on this year's Photographic Encounters in Arles in the south of France. Krzysztof Jurecki discusses the work of Ewa Surowiec and the Jelenia Góra-based photography group Strefa Fotografii. Marianna Michalowska analyzes Krzysztof Slachciak's series and book entitled More likely, we are not unique, and Elzbieta Lyubovich leans on Artur Panczakiewicz's photo interpretation Cosmogony Penderecki. Jerzy Orawski explains Land Krzysztof Szlapa, and Ania Jackowska takes a closer look at the photography of Diego Moreno, which we had the pleasure of seeing at this year's Fotofestival.

Katarzyna Gębarowska, head of the Vintage Photo Festival, profiles Sarah Moon, a guest of this year's edition of the Bydgoszcz festival. Sarah's photo adorns the cover of the latest issue of our magazine. Krzysztof Szymoniak writes about Jacek Boczar's early photomontages, in which the author settles accounts with his childhood, and Waldemar Sliwczynski, our editor-in-chief, presents Mariusz Hartmann's extraordinary photographs. Piotr Nowak, deputy editor-in-chief, delighted with the street photographs of Gosia Trzaskoś from the Tri-City area.

These are just some of the articles that make up "Quarterly Photography" No. 46. We also have a history section and other regular columns. We invite you to read them.
