Marek Szyryk - professor at the Leon Schiller National Film, Television and Theater School in Lodz. Graduate of the Higher School of Pedagogy in Opole. Since 2000 he has been a member of the Association of Polish Artists Photographers. He is a creator of classical photography and installations. He has rediscovered and promotes the old technique of wet collodion. He has presented his works at many exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Winner of the Grand Prix of the IX All-Polish Biennale of Mountain Photography in Jelenia Gora in 1996. Curator of photography exhibitions. Author of volumes of haiku poetry. His photographs are among others in the Museum of the History of Photography in Krakow, the Karkonosze Museum in Jelenia Gora and in private collections in Poland and abroad.
