Description
"Normalization" as an ideological program of social and political integration in Czechoslovakia after 1968 in photographs by Ivan Varchol and Juraj Kammer, and more contemporary photographs by Luca Nimcova. Solange Brand worked as art director of Le Monde Diplomatique for 27 years. As a 19-year-old, she became a secretary at the French Embassy in Beijing, and there she began photographing at Kodachrome China. Her photos lay in a drawer for more than 40 years and in 2005 saw the light of day. niewidzialnemiasto.pl - is a project and a website (which in 2022 no longer works), but which collected in photos manifestations of all kinds of creativity in urban space and around the homes of residents of the largest Polish cities. The album "Real foto" is a collection of photos from Mikolaj Dlugosz's online auctions - the truest sign and document of our times. Between juicy green abstraction and reality in places are the photographs of Malgorzata Skoczylas. Jolanta Gawryś embroiders a series of her works "Da-sein", and Eva Lauterlein in her "Chimeras" portraits combines many faces into one photograph. The viewer first believes what he sees, and then begins to doubt. We also show Helmut Newton's photographs from the Berlin exhibition "Fired," then plunge into the trees, Janusz Nowacki's Forest. Mariusz Hermanowicz's photos are shown, which are like his visual diary. Katarzyna Majak writes about the Art Forum in Berlin, Paris Photo, and the Warsaw Art Fair in person and from the perspective of the creator.
