Description
"Silence" was published in 2008 as a gift made by the author to himself on the occasion of his 50th birthday. It was not a standard book, i.e., a compact publication with pages bound together and in a cover, but a sort of author's portfolio with loose pages placed in boxes specially designed by Tomek Wojciechowski (Fattombo). The photographs were taken with a 4×5 inch camera in the villages of Wrzesnia County. These are manor, farm and residential buildings, that is, mainly barns, barns, pigsties, chicken coops, distilleries, sheepfolds, in the years of photography (2001-2008) usually no longer in use, forgotten, decaying. For the author, these lonely buildings are monuments, part of the national legacy, which should be protected and cared for. It is a great cry to preserve them for future generations.
