Ireneusz Zje\u017cd\u017ca\u0142ka<\/strong> (1972-2008) - djournalist, artist photographer In 1987 he started <\/span>independent photographic activity and from 1990 was a member of the Wrzesnia Photographic Society. In 1997 he graduated in soil reclamation and protection from the Agricultural Academy in Poznan. In 1995 he was awarded second prize in the Foto-Eko'94 Nature Photography Contest in Poznan. In the same year he joined the Association of Polish Nature Photographers. He has participated in many post-exhibitions and post-competition exhibitions, including the \"Polagra\" Agricultural and Industrial Fair in Poznan and the Prowincjonalia film festival in Wrze\u015bnia. On December 1, 1998, he took a job as a photography instructor at the \"Castle\" Cultural Center in Poznan, and the following year he was one of the <\/span>of the founders of the \"Wrze\u015bnica\" \u015aliwczy\u0144ski\/Zje\u017cd\u017ca\u0142ka Creative Group and curator of the exhibition \"Landscape of the End of the Century\" (Wrze\u015bnia 1999, together with Waldemar \u015aliwczy\u0144ski). In 2000, he participated in the post-competition exhibition of the International Salon of Art Miniature in Belgrade and began creating the series \"Without an atelier - portraits of the children of Wrzesnia\" (in connection with the centenary of the 1901 school strike). He was a founding member of the \"Forum of Cultures\" Association in Poznan and an organizer of plein-air and international exchanges. He also started cooperation with \"Kwartalnik Fotografia\" (2000).At that time he organized Polish-German open-air workshops in Mikuszewo. In 2001, his works were exhibited at the \"Schwarz aus weiss\" exhibition in Hanover and he received an Art Scholarship from the City of Poznan. On February 25, 2002 he passed the qualifying exam to become a member of the Union of Polish Artists Photographers, and in June he had a solo exhibition \"Ohne Atelier\" in Kassel. In December 2002 he became deputy editor-in-chief of \"Kwartalnik Fotografia,\" and in 2003 he was given the position of editor of the photography department at Kropka Publishing House and co-authored the album \"Little Atlas of My City.\" In 2004 he had an exhibition in Garbsen, as well as the Art Paris Gallery in Sofia and Art Hall in Klaipeda (group exhibition). That year he also took over as editor-in-chief of \"Quarterly\". He also began working with the School of Humanities and Journalism in Poznan (curator of the 2piR gallery). In 2005 he had a solo exhibition in Moscow and Toronto (together with Patrycja Orzechowska). In 2006 he was a juror in a portfolio review in Houston, Texas. On June 23, 2006 he became deputy editor-in-chief of the weekly newspaper Wiadomo\u015bci Wrzesi\u0144ska. In the same year he conducted workshops in Slovakia and lectures in Bulgaria. He started <\/span>also cooperated with the Warsaw School of Photography, where he held classes for students. In 2006, he received an art scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, which resulted the following year in a group exhibition of scholarship recipients, \"The Effect of Reality. Photography and Video from Poland at the Zach\u0119ta National Gallery of Art in Warsaw. In 2007, he participated in exhibitions in Thessaloniki and Wolkersdorf (Germany) and received the award of the Marshal of the Wielkopolska Region for his artistic achievements. He was still successful in the field of artistic photography and photographic education in 2008. On September 9, 2006, he married Anna Ignasinskaya and a daughter, Idalia, was born to this union. He died on July 25, 2008 and was buried in the municipal cemetery in Wrze\u015bnia.<\/span><\/p>\n
