The sites are not immovable-
They are changing their spaces,
They are taming more and more new territories.
Places follow us, revealing only for a moment an open field of illusion.
Here they change to There,
Now becomes Once.
They wander along familiar trails:
Tracking minor episodes,
Fascinating encounters;traces of presence.
They radiate magic and nostalgia .
They move through time,
They make secret agreements with us.
Once becoming concrete, at other times a barely graspable premonition.
They discover and hide,
They promise and entice
Places.
They are the ones who choose us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Janina Hobgarska<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She lives in Jelenia Gora. Graduate of the University of Wroclaw and the Higher School of Photography in Warsaw. She has been a member of ZPAF since 2001.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 1988 to 2017 she ran the Jelenia G\u00f3ra Art Exhibition Office. She has curated many exhibitions of contemporary art, international and regional projects on the art of Karkonosze, and has written texts for exhibition catalogs and art magazines. In 2014 she was awarded the silver medal \"Meritorious to Culture Gloria Artis\". <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She combined her professional work with her photographic passion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is the author of exhibitions: Photographs<\/em> ( debut at FF Gallery in Lodz - 1987), Zone of silence, Private realities, Interiors, Places, Places are not immovable, Silent life of objects, Giant Mountains, Giant Mountains - Places, Landscapes near and far.<\/em> She also participated in many group presentations. She has taken part in exhibitions in the series \"Contacts\" and in plein-air and exhibitions within the framework of the Biennale of Mountain Photography in Jelenia Gora. She currently participates in the activities of the Jelenia G\u00f3ra Photography Zone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
