The Theater Photography Contest features the most important and interesting photographs of Polish theater life. Organized by the Zbigniew Raszewski Theater Institute since 2015, it showcases photos by professional theater photographers, graduates of art schools and photography enthusiasts. Every year we receive hundreds, even thousands of submissions that show the diversity of Polish theater in the passing season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the anniversary edition, works can be submitted in three categories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"theatrical photo of the season\" (Category A), that is, a single photograph showing both a theatrical performance, work on it and other scenes related to Polish theatrical life, distinguished by special artistic and documentary qualities,
\"Documentary set from a performance\" (Category B), that is, up to three sets (up to 10 photographs each set, no less than 6 photographs in a set) documenting single performances produced in Poland, whose premiere took place in the 2023\/2024 season,
\"portrait of an actor\/actress in a role\" (Category C), i.e. a single photograph showing an acting person in costume and make-up, taken on stage or just after leaving the stage, showing the stage character and the person creating it in a performance whose premiere took place in Poland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The application, in addition to the completed Form and Declaration, must include photographs saved as digital files on a flash drive or disc and prints of photos in 13\u00d718 cm format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
