Exhibition opening ahead Melting Pott. An exhibition of photographs by Till Br\u00f6nner<\/em>. The photographs on display are a selection of 57 works by Till Br\u00f6nner taken during his year-long exploration of the Ruhr region. The artist captured the area's inhabitants, surroundings, industry and architecture. They show a vibrant area where, until recently, industry played a key role. Through Br\u00f6nner's lens, we will look at the people of the Ruhr, the place where they live and the industry that is visible in the landscape and architecture. By analyzing the works, we will also discover people's strong identity with the place, their attachment to it. By creating a complete picture of the region, Till Br\u00f6nner has created an opportunity to understand this relationship. The region, where industry generated the rhythm of daily life, seems to still be vibrant, perhaps no longer driven by industry, but by its diversity and multifaceted nature. In front of us is a whole range of frames capturing the color of this place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The photographs in the exhibition are from the collection of the Brost Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Till Br\u00f6nner<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Till Br\u00f6nner<\/strong> He was born in 1971 near D\u00fcsseldorf. He is Germany's most successful jazz musician. The impetus for seeing the parallels between jazz and photography came from the work of another musician and fashion photographer William Claxton, featured in the documentary film Jazz Seen<\/em> 2001. After buying his first Leica M8 camera in 2009, Jazzman began his adventure with photography.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
