Sri Lanka holds the secrets of an ancient civilization, but also the darkness of modern war murders from which eyes have been averted. The ethno-religious conflict between Sinhalese and Tamils, which lasted several decades and ended brutally in 2009, marked the country, and most of all the women and men who remained, with blood and pain.\u00a0<br>Warsaw-based photographer Patryk Bulhak decided to give voice to and show the faces of women who fought for their dignity and freedom during the war, and have to face social exclusion after it ended.
