The photographs presented at the exhibition were not created as a result of some methodical thought, nor are they the result of planned action. For years they have been accumulating and multiplying in the archive in a completely spontaneous and uncontrolled manner. More often than not, they serve no function and do not meet any expectations. Often they are the beginnings of never-completed, but planned with epic momentum, long-term activities. There are also so-called trial approaches, to topics that, for unknown reasons, were never continued, and other works, unconnected to anything, whose origins are difficult to recall even for the author years later. The whole forms a chronicle of omissions and inconsistencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The title : \"Silver Rerum\" is a play on words silva\/silver and refers to silver, perhaps the most important chemical element in the history of photography, which is still the basis of the author's creative practice today. The second part of the title is left without a semantic shift, which together is meant to emblemize the exhibition and justify the way it was created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The photographic excerpt titled. , \"Golem\" used as a backdrop to promote the exhibition comes from an open series implemented since 2012 under the working name \"Worth of Exposure\" I don't remember exactly whether placing myself during the pinholic exposure was intentional or not but the outline of the silhouette indicates that I was busy with other photographic activities at the time, probably I was shooting with a medium format SLR at the time. Maybe one day you will be able to find the negative of the image in the picture?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
