World Press Photo - 65th edition Among the 24 award-winning photographers, four global grand prizes will be selected in the categories of The World Press Photo of the Year, the World Press Photo Story of the Year, the World Press Photo Long-Term Project Award and the World Press Photo Open Format Award. <\/strong>The World Press Photo contest recognizes and rewards the best reportage and documentary photos of the past year*. During this year's edition, a special independent jury decided on regional winners in four categories: Singles, Stories, Long-Term Projects and Open Format. Twenty-four authors from 23 countries were awarded.
